Working faster than before
Galil announces the latest improvements to its current generation of multi-axis controllers. The new firmware release 1.3 includes a number of speed improvements and optimizations, also to support new hardware and software features. These should save system developers a lot of time and money. According to Galil, the commissioning and production of market readiness has never been faster.
The focus of the improvements lies in the drastically shorter instruction processing time. The DMC-40x0 will now execute commands 2.5 times faster and the DMC-41x3 will now execute commands 15 times faster than with the previous version. This means that a DMC-40x0 now needs 11 µs to execute commands and a DMC-41x3 only 14 µs. With this optimization and its numerous standard options, both series continue to meet demanding applications and their requirements.
